Computer Security Day 2010

Today is the 334th day of the year. There are 31 days remaining until the end of the year (25 days till Christmas). If your birthday is today, you are a Sagittarius.

This is the 23rd annual Computer Security Day, an event started in 1988 to help raise awareness of computer related security issues.

November 30th is also Stay Home Because You're Well Day, an excuse to tell your boss that you will be staying home from work because you are "well" (instead of faking an illness).  It is also Saint Andrew's Day (Saint Andrew is the patron saint of Scotland).

In Barbados, today is Independence Day.  They achieved their independence from Great Britain just 44 years ago, in 1966.

British statesman Winston Churchill was born on this day in 1874.  175 years ago today, American author Samuel Clemens (Mark Twain) was born.

On November 30, 1931, "The Joy of Cooking" was first published.
